Job description

Overview

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities, such as Jet Grouting Pipe (soil improvements), deep excavation, pipe-jacking and manhole construction, to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Check and study construction drawings, method statements, and technical submissions to ensure they meet project and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with the safety team to enforce compliance with safety regulations for all construction activities.
• Purchase services/utilities plan, NCE, Trial trench report, site meeting with services/ utilities officers etc… PUB system as Permit to Dig, Permit to Jack etc. and Road Opening Application (ROA).
• Work with consultants, subcontractors, and PUB representatives to coordinate site activities and reply to their queries in WhatsApp Group or via email.
• Track and report on project progress against the approved construction program and update on daily basis.
• Ensure quality assurance tests on materials are conducted well in advance and workmanship and conduct site inspections to ensure a high standard of work.
• Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily work logs, progress reports, and variations, for all construction activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore\'s Professional Engineers Board.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in civil engineering projects, particularly those involving soil improvements, Shaft excavation (both caisson and sheet pile), pipe-jacking and permanent manhole construction is highly preferred.
• Experience in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint etc..) and AutoCAD.
• Possess Class 3 driving license and able to work independently.
