Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an Engineer to assist the Project Manager with on-site technical matters and project planning. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, is proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD, and has at least 5 years of experience in Building Engineering projects. Job description

Report to Project Manager, the engineer has the following responsibilities :

  • Assist the project manager in project planning, all on-site technical / engineering matter and authority submissions
  • Assist the project manager in managing and implementing the quality, environmental, health and safety (QEHS) management system of PIKASA CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PTE LTD on site.
  • Supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance to operating procedures, quality standards and contractual specifications
  • Monitor progress of works and site activities to ensure adherence to project timeline
  • Conduct on site investigations and analyze data ( maps, reports, test, drawing etc)
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
  • Responsible for all inspection activities carried out at work site
  • To update all structural / architectural and M&E progress with scheduling tools
  • To prepare and submit shop drawing / material / MOS monthly progress claims and PM report
  • To analyze customer complaints and provide advise and resolve problems creatively.
Requirement and Skills
  1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  2. Proficient in MS Office , Auto Cad
  3. Good analytical, supervision and communication skills
  4. 5 years of experience in Building Engineering projects including New Build
