Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for a project engineer to oversee construction activities, ensuring quality and progress through coordination with subcontractors and regular inspections. • To coordinate and correspond with sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants
• Attending site meetings
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring work progress
• Supervision of construction progress and quality checking
• Prepare monthly progress report and progress claim
• Supervise all structural and civil works and attend all meetings and coordination with sub-contractors.
• Liaise with client’s consultants, RE and etc.
• Prepare and plan work schedules.
• Maintain and monitor quality controls.
• Conduct daily field inspections of all work under construction.
• Ensure workers maintain a clean construction site at all times.
• Prepare job closing inspection reports for completed construction.
• Establish inventory control methods and procedures to ensure availability.
• Co-ordinate all matters pertaining to compensation insurance for labour and take necessary steps to maintain lowest possible rate
• Other administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
