Job summary

Ekosys Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join our Civil/Structural Engineering team for a full-time role based in Jurong West, West Region. You will oversee construction activities on site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion in line with design specifications.

Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required, with 2–3 years on-site experience. Proficiency in reading drawings and MS Office is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years on-site Site Engineer experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs; knowledge of safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and document progress, identifying deviations from design and taking corrective actions
• Monitor and manage the quality of materials, workmanship, and structural integrity throughout the construction process
• Liaise between the project management team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built documentation
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel comply with health and safety regulations and site protocols
• Manage site resources including equipment, materials, and labour to optimise productivity and minimise waste
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and implement solutions in consultation with senior engineers
• Conduct surveys and measurements to verify that constructed elements meet design specifications
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to the project management team

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar on-site construction role

• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction practices, materials, and methodologies

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and construction site management

• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and site management software is advantageous
