🏗️ Site Coordinator – Job Scope & Requirements
📌 Job Scope / Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision
Oversee daily site activities to ensure work is done according to schedule, safety standards, and specifications.
Monitor site manpower, materials, and equipment usage. - Coordination with Teams
Liaise between subcontractors, main contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Resolve on-site issues and report critical matters to the Project Manager. - Progress Monitoring
Track work progress and report daily or weekly updates.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. - Quality Control
Inspect works to ensure compliance with design, standards, and specifications.
Highlight defects or rework needed to relevant parties. - Safety Compliance
Enforce workplace safety and health regulations.
Conduct safety briefings and ensure workers use proper PPE. - Document Handling
Maintain proper records of site activities, including delivery orders, inspection checklists, and work permits.
Assist in preparation of reports, method statements, and site instructions. - Material & Resource Coordination
Check deliveries and material quality.
Arrange materials, tools, and equipment needed for site work.
🎓 Job Requirements:
📘 Education:
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Some positions may accept relevant trade or technical qualifications (ITE/NTC).
💼 Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant working experience in construction sites (building, A&A, M&E, or infrastructure projects).
- Fresh graduates with site internship experience may also be considered for junior roles.
🧠 Skills & Qualities:
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and building codes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and physically fit to work on-site.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools is an advantage.
