Responsibilities

• Execute and implement preventive and corrective maintenance tasks related to electrical and instrumentation systems, with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Perform troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation issues.
• Handle AC low-voltage systems (single-phase and three-phase) and troubleshoot as required.
• Maintain optimal stock levels of electrical components, drives, and spare parts to minimize plant downtime; ensure backup and proper management of drive parameters.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance procedures, risk assessments, single-line diagrams (SLD), and other E&I maintenance records for effective troubleshooting.
• Experience working with 3-phase generator control systems interfacing with grid power.
• Coordinate with Professional Engineers (PE) to plan and carry out preventive maintenance of medium and high-voltage systems (up to 22kV).
• Interpret and, when necessary, develop electrical panel schematics.
• Guide technicians in troubleshooting auxiliary systems such as ACMV, CCTV, access control, PA systems, and general power and lighting.
• Maintain and update all electrical specifications, procedures, and drawings.
• Oversee material management, including consumables, spare parts, and replacement units.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and document all findings.
• Review, approve, and document service, repair, and overhaul work on equipment.
• Maintain 5S standards within the maintenance workshop, storage areas, and worksite.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, and relevant authorities as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Maintenance Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical engineering within chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or power plant environments.
• Strong foundation in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Technically adept and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and their administration.
• Knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems is preferred.
