A Singapore-based HR consultancy seeks an experienced Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, is detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports and liaising with government authorities on compliance matters. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare and manage payment schedules; update and follow up on payment status and submit daily and weekly financial reports to management to ensure smooth operations.
* Review and audit financial transactions and ensure proper control of accounting documents and procedures.
* Prepare and present daily sales reports to the Director and Management.
* Compile and submit the annual Fixed Asset Depreciation Report to the Director and Management.
* Liaise with relevant government authorities on financial and accounting matters, including audits, GST submissions, and other statutory requirements.
* Coordinate with auditors and management during annual audits and ensure all audit requirements are met.
* Communicate with external parties such as banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders on accounting and costing matters.
* Prepare daily credit card reconciliation reports, bank balance updates, and monitor daily bank transactions to ensure timely fund disbursements and credits.
* Manage petty cash and process reimbursement claims accurately.
* Prepare bank deposits for counter cash collections.
* Handle quarterly GST submissions and yearly commission statements.
* Conduct monthly inventory stock takes, and manage asset disposal and write-offs.
* Assist with e-commerce payment processing.
* Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents.
* Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Director and Management.
Requirements:
At least *3 years of relevant accounting experience**.
* Well-organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
Proficient in *Microsoft Office applications** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to *prioritize tasks effectively**, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
* Meticulous, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Possess a *positive attitude** and a willingness to learn.
