Job summary

Singapore AMK Surface Finishing & Electroplating Company is seeking a proactive Production Coordinator to manage daily production schedules, coordinate material flow, and support administrative tasks in the plant.

The role requires 1–3 years in a manufacturing setting, familiarity with production workflows, and strong communication skills in English and Chinese. The position is based in AMK, Singapore, with a 5-day work week and salary SGD 2,500–3,500 monthly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Operations Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing plant or workshop experience; plating/heat treatment/precision engineering is a plus.
• Basic understanding of production workflows, job tracking systems, and document control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP/order systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a factory/workshop environment.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production job orders to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP) on the shop floor and update production schedules in real time.
• Liaise between Production, Quality Control (QC), and Sales/Customer Service teams regarding job status and potential delays.
• Prepare production job sheets, material requisitions, delivery orders (DO), and related documentation.
• Monitor raw material and plating chemical inventory levels, and assist in timely replenishment requests.
• Handle customer order changes, process urgency requests, and follow up on corrective actions if quality issues arise.

Education

Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Operations Management, or related discipline.

Key Responsibilities / 主要職責

Production Scheduling & Job Tracking / 生產調度與進度跟進

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production job orders to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

  規劃、安排並協調每日生產工單，確保生產流程順暢並按時交貨。

• Track work-in-progress (WIP) on the shop floor and update production schedules in real time.

  跟進車間在製品（WIP）進度，即時更新生產排程與紀錄。

• Liaise between Production, Quality Control (QC), and Sales/Customer Service teams regarding job status and potential delays.

  就生產進度、品質狀態及潛在延誤問題，與生產部、品管部及業務團隊保持密切溝通。

Operations & Administrative Support / 運作與行政支援

• Prepare production job sheets, material requisitions, delivery orders (DO), and related documentation.

  準備生產工單、領料單、送貨單（DO）及相關文件。

• Monitor raw material and plating chemical inventory levels, and assist in timely replenishment requests.

  監控原料及電鍍化學品庫存，協助及時提交採購補充申請。

• Handle customer order changes, process urgency requests, and follow up on corrective actions if quality issues arise.

  處理客戶訂單變更與急單協調，並在出現品質問題時協助跟進改善措施。

Requirements / 職位要求

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Operations Management, or related discipline.

  機械工程、製造工程、化學、運營管理或相關領域之大專 / 專業證書學歷。

• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing plant or workshop environment (experience in plating, heat treatment, or precision engineering is a strong advantage).

  具備 1–3 年製造業工廠或車間工作經驗（有電鍍、熱處理或精密工程背景者優先考慮）。

• Basic understanding of production workflows, job tracking systems, and document control.

  具備生產流程、工單跟進及文件管理的基礎概念。

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP/order systems.
