Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a motivated Test Engineer to support optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices at chip and wafer levels, implementing test plans and analyzing data.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, coordinate calibrations, assist root-cause investigations, and help develop automated test solutions for manufacturing and development, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic/ Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices at chip level and wafer level.
• Execute test plans and collect measurement data accurately and efficiently.
• Analyze test results and prepare reports for review by project teams and senior engineers.
• Assist in troubleshooting test-related issues and root cause investigations.
• Maintain test setups and equipment; coordinate calibration and maintenance.
• Support the implementation and optimization of automated test solutions.
• Document test procedures, observations, and results in a timely manner.
• Perform safety and environmental, health, and security responsibilities as required.
