Job summary

Facebook Singapore is seeking a Signals Intelligence Specialist to analyze, detect, and disrupt networks of criminal scammers worldwide. You will join a law-enforcement-facing team and leverage cutting-edge analytics to identify nefarious activity.

This role requires extensive intelligence experience and the ability to derive strategic insights from large datasets. The position is highly cross-functional, working with teams across the company to identify trends that can improve platform safety

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience researching, investigating, and analyzing trends related to online harms
• 2+ years experience developing and maintaining relational databases
• Background in conducting data analysis using large databases
• Understanding of Python and/or SQL for AI/ML work
• Experience in threat investigation/threat intelligence at a major organization
• Experience communicating to analytic counterparts, senior leaders, and policymakers
• Understanding of AI/ML methods
• Ability to collaborate across large organizations
• Experience in social network analysis

Responsibilities

• Identify large networks of nefarious actors using existing data
• Provide thorough analysis on emerging trends to executives and law enforcement
• Lead design, prototyping, and automation of complex analyses
• Develop insights to drive engagement with law enforcement
• Support data pipelines and dashboards development
• Create analytic notebooks with AI to empower analysts
• Plan end-to-end analyses from requirements to leadership communications
• Influence cross-functional teams with data-driven recommendations
• Develop metrics to surface insights from datasets
• Maintain a network of information sources for emerging trends and developments
