Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and people-oriented Shop Manager to lead our team. This is a hands-on role for a natural leader who is passionate about retail, excels in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to driving sales while upholding our brand's high standards. You will be the face of our store, responsible for everything from daily operations to team development and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales associates; create weekly schedules, manage payroll, and oversee day-to-day team activities; foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.
- Sales & Business Growth: Drive store sales and achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs; develop and implement strategies to increase foot traffic, average transaction value, and customer loyalty; manage inventory levels, place product orders, and oversee stockroom organization.
- Customer Experience: Ensure every customer receives outstanding service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally; lead by example on the shop floor, engaging with customers and sharing product knowledge.
- Operations & Visual Merchandising: Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily financial reconciliations; ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing according to brand guidelines; manage loss prevention and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
- Proven experience as a Shop Manager, Store Manager, or Assistant Manager in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully building and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and financial reporting.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
