Job summary

A leading retail company in Singapore is seeking an experienced manager to oversee daily shop operations, lead a talented team, and ensure excellent customer service. Candidates should have a diploma and at least 8 years of supervisory experience in the food & beverage or retail industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This role requires flexibility with shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Fully responsible for shop’s day to day operation within budget and aligned to the expected standards
  • Lead, train and motivate individual shop team to achieve sales targets with high service standards and strong teamwork
  • Ensure a professional level of customer service is delivered by staffs at all times and ensure staffs are fully briefed about products, current promotions, offers and other information in relation to shop operations
  • Leading team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, procedures, licensing and comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Ensure adherence to effective security & financial procedures, including opening and closing procedures
  • Planning of manpower and rostering
  • Inventory management in shop and control shop wastage
  • Tabulation for payroll records, such as month end OT calculation and annual leave tracking
  • Liaise with contractors for shop’s repair and maintenance work
  • Tracking and submission of shop’s monthly petty cash claims
Job Requirements:
  • Possess Diploma or higher Secondary School education
  • Required 8 years of supervisory experience in food & beverages, hospitality, or retail industry
  • Must be able to work on rotating shifts, weekends & Public Holidays
  • Knowledge of MS office (Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skillsPleasant and outgoing disposition
  • Able to coach and mentor team member
  • Confident and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Committed and able to work independently
