Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the appearance of the store, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
  • Operate the cash register, handle payments, and issue receiptsRestock shelves and ensure product displays are tidy and well-presented
  • Assist with inventory management and stocktaking
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a positive attitude
  • Follow organisation policies and procedures, including health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Working time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and one Sunday morning each month.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cashier and POS system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluence in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • A team player with a proactive and can-do attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
