Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage inquiries and support the sales team. The role involves preparing quotations, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth operations. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and preferably experience in the freight forwarding industry. This position may require working under pressure and handling overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience and relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Prepare and process sales-related documents for logistics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistics-related issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations.
  • Support the sales team in generating new business.

Job description
  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Prepare and process quotations and other sales‑related documents for airfreight, seafreight, logistics, and CBT.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as damaged cargo, billing discrepancies, and other logistics concerns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including outdoor sales, operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the outdoor sales team in generating new business and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
  • Positive, proactive, and optimistic attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to learn, improve, and take initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle overtime when necessary.
  • Capable of working independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in customer service and the freight forwarding industry is preferred.
