Job summary

A logistics services provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate for import/export operations. Responsibilities include managing orders, preparing documentation, and coordinating customer services. The ideal applicant should have a minimum GCE 'O' Level and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Immediate availability preferred. Salary ranges from $2,300 to $2,600 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle import, export, and local cargo orders.
  • Prepare documentation for import and export.
  • Ensure accurate completion of Job Sheets.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental services for customer requests.
  • Update charges/fees incurred for customer billing.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative work.

Job description

SINGAPOREANS ONLY

Working hours: Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 6:00 pm

Remuneration: $2,300 - $2,600 depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Services import, export and local cargo orders from customers and key customer assigned.
  • Preparation of all relevant documentation for import and export including declaration of import and export trade permits.
  • Ensures that Job Sheets are accurately raised and completed in accordance to customers’ import and export job orders by updating the Boon’s software.
  • Coordinates inter-departmental services for customers’ request for loading and port clearance/transportation/ warehousing services with the other divisions of the Group and providing updates of job tracking/fulfilment to customers.
  • Updates all the charges/fees incurred in delivery of services to be borne by customers in the Job Sheet for Finance to bill customers.
  • All Adhoc administrative works where applicable
Requirements
  • Candidate should possess min GCE ‘O’ Level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Tradenet is an advantage
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
