A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking an individual with 1-2 years of experience in shipping or logistics. Key responsibilities include handling documentation, coordinating shipments, billing, and providing support to the team. Candidates should have knowledge of TradeNet, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Excel. This position offers flexible working hours, including part-time options.
Well-versed in import and export shipping documentation and procedures, preferably with TradeNet knowledge and sales coordination.
Arrange bookings, coordinate freight forwarding and customs clearance, and prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, and permits.
Handle billing, verify shipping costs, compare freight quotations, support vendor negotiations, and coordinate with finance on payments.
To assist with answering incoming calls and generate invoices and data entry to Quickbooks (with Hanyu Pinyin input).
Perform administrative tasks (e.g packing of parcels) and providing ad-hoc support to the team.
Training will be provided.
Working hours: 730am – 330pm (Monday – Friday)
Part-time available (730am - 1230pm)
1 - 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of import/export processes and shipping documentation.
Willing to learn and positive attitude
Team player with meticulous attention to detail and good communication skills
Knowledge of Tradenet, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
