Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a professional for a Ship Operation role. The individual will monitor vessel schedules, ensure compliance with operational requests, and manage financial aspects of vessel operations. Ship Operation

Responsibilities
  • Monitor each vessel’s schedule and itinerary, preparing for operational events.
  • Ensure Voyage Orders and Charterers’ requests comply with Charter Party terms.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies, ship management companies, lawyers, and other relevant parties to resolve daily incidents and issues.
  • Manage vessels’ hire income and Charterers’ disbursements.
  • Oversee vessels’ budgets to determine financial results, investigating significant variances with ship managers.
  • Develop annual budgets to monitor vessels’ financial performance, reportingto stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years relevent experience.
  • Knowledge of ship operations work.
  • Good negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Team player and able to work independently.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Proficent in japanese to liaise with HQ and clients.
