Brief Summary

Join an analytical laboratory team where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of production processes through precise testing and equipment maintenance. This position offers a dynamic work environment with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laboratory equipment and instruments according to current instructions.
• Perform tests as outlined in the Analysis Plan to monitor production processes and record results accurately.
• Prepare necessary reagents and standards for analysis.
• Maintain adequate inventories of chemicals and consumables for smooth laboratory operations.
• Adhere to safety practices and participate in job safety risk activities within the laboratory.
• Conduct routine and non-routine housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment as specified in work instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure all laboratory instruments are functioning correctly.
• Update work instructions, analytical methods, and laboratory records as required.
• Maintain comprehensive laboratory records and manage the Quality file.

Requirements

• ITE/Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory setting within the chemical industry.
• Willingness to work in Jurong Island and perform 12-hour rotating shifts (transport provided).
