Job summary

Clermont Group in Singapore seeks a finance professional to provide trade support, ensure settlements with brokers and custodians, and deliver timely portfolio reporting for the Capital team. The role also covers daily cash and FX management, and assisting in audits and monthly accounts.

The candidate should have a finance-related degree, with CA/CPA as an advantage, and familiarity with both public and private markets. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with both public markets and private markets.
• Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and settlement cycles.
• Practical experience with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators.
• Good accounting principles, financial and P&L reporting, and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade support to Head of Trading, ensuring smooth settlement of trades with brokers and custodians.
• Deliver accurate and timely portfolio management reporting for the Capital team, including quarterly financials and P&L reporting on positions.
• Manage daily cash, trade, and FX management, settlement and reconciliations. Own every transaction.
• Lead automation and process improvements across back-office operations.
• Support preparation of monthly accounts, financial statements, and assist with audits coordination.
