Position Summary

A ServiceNow Architect is an expert in evalauting, designing and implementing communication and collaboration solutions for different platforms and environments. They can specialize in assessment, design, consulting, implementation, migration or delivery of these solutions. They also create documentation, provide estimations and support sales and solutions teams. As a ServiceNow Architect, you’ll be responsible for applying deep expertise across the ServiceNow platform—including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), HR Service Delivery, Security Operations (SecOps), and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)—to deliver impactful solutions

You will use your architectural knowledge and consulting experience to assess client needs, design scalable and secure ServiceNow architectures, define roadmaps, and guide delivery teams. Strong communication and leadership skills are critical to articulating the business value of ServiceNow solutions and managing senior stakeholder expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead architectural design for large-scale ServiceNow programs, including integration with legacy and modern enterprise systems.
  • Define and enforce platform governance, development standards, and design principles.
  • Advise customers on best practices for platform adoption, upgrade strategies, and operating models.
  • Balance speed-to-value with sustainable design, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor consultants, developers, and engineers while driving delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 10+ years of IT consulting or enterprise architecture experience, with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow solution design and delivery.
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale ServiceNow programs (multi‑module, multi‑region, multi‑geo).
  • Strong expertise in at least three ServiceNow domains: ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping), ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC/IRM, or CSM.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling.
  • Experience with workflows, scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes, Agile/DevOps methodologies, and enterprise IT operating models.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to lead workshops, capture requirements, and translate business needs into actionable architectures.
  • Experience defining governance models, delivery frameworks, and reusable accelerators (HLD/LLD, runbooks, integration patterns).
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC).
  • Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within ServiceNow (Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent).
  • Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, government) with compliance and security design.
  • Business case development skills including ROI/TCO analysis for ServiceNow adoption.
  • Experience leading global delivery teams, with onshore/offshore model coordination.
  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise integration tools (Mulesoft, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs).
