Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Technician (Automatic Doors / Entrance Systems) based in Ubi with islandwide site work. Salary ranges from $2,300 to $2,800 with a variable bonus and a 5-day work week.

Responsibilities include servicing, diagnostics, testing, and site reporting for automatic entrances. A valid Class 3/3A licence and willingness to travel to client sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude required.
• Experience with automatic doors or building systems essential.
• Valid Class 3/3A driving licence; frequent travel to client sites expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing and retrofits of automatic door parts (mechanical, electrical and electronic).
• Troubleshoot and perform site checks on automatic entrances; recommend parts replacement.
• Provide site reports to clients upon completion of works.
• Carry out testing, commissioning and decommissioning; conduct risk assessments for entrance systems.
• Propose upgrades and practical solutions for existing door entrances.
• Keep the assigned service vehicle roadworthy, clean and hygienic.
• Stay updated on product information and technical know-how for own and competitor products.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and replace when worn.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

• Day/timings: 5 days, Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:30PM (5.5 days for Work Permit holders)

• Location: Based in Ubi; site work islandwide, including offshore islands

Our client is an established provider of automatic doors and entrance systems, covering supply, installation and servicing for commercial and industrial customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out scheduled servicing and retrofits of automatic door parts (mechanical, electrical and electronic)

• Troubleshoot and conduct site checks on automatic entrances, and recommend parts replacement to users

• Provide site reports to clients on completion of works

• Carry out testing, commissioning and decommissioning, and conduct risk assessments for automatic entrance systems

• Propose upgrades and practical solutions for clients' existing door entrances

• Keep the assigned service vehicle roadworthy, clean and hygienic

• Keep updated on product information and technical know-how for own and competitor products

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and replace them when damaged or worn

• Other duties assigned by management or your immediate superior
