Overview

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Home Appliances)
• Position Title: Service Technician
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,300 + HP Allowance + Transport Allowance + Service Commission + OT + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide after-sales service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of our home kitchen products at customer locations.
• Maintain enough spare parts in your vehicle for service jobs.
• Conduct basic user training for customers.
• Prepare and explain service reports to customers after each visit.
• Represent the company in a professional manner as a frontline staff member.
• Work together with both internal and external team members.
• Follow up on outstanding service issues promptly.
• Provide necessary service and assistance as directed by the company.
• Manage and keep track of spare parts.

Qualifications

• NiTEC, HiTEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or related fields).
• 1-2 years of experience servicing home appliances preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical schematics is an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience in gas water heaters or possession of a Gas Service Worker License (LGSW) is an advantage.
• Must have a valid Class 3 driving license.
