MNC Supporting customers in the Asia-Pacific region with comprehensive services in the areas of sales, spare parts supply, service, and technical consulting for the marine, industrial, and energy sectors. The company offers high-performance components for industrial applications in the mining, oil & gas, conveyor technology, steel industry, and energy generation sectors, portfolio includes Highly elastic couplings, Brake systems, Elastic bearings.

Job Scope

• To support regional Service Team, reporting to the Service Manager.
• The services are mostly related to marine environment but also include industrial line of products.
• Inspections, measurements, installations, repairs and overhauls in Singapore and the Region.
• The products involved are couplings, shafts, mounts, brakes, backstops, fluid couplings etc.
• It requires traveling as well as cooperation and communication with customers and head office in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Candidate must be willing to work in the Marine and Industrial Environments: Inspections, overhauls, repairs, deliveries, occasional travelling on short notice
• Preparation of Visit- and Service Reports
• Upkeeping of warehouse
• Scheduling service jobs
• Coordinating service teams
• Consulting with customers

Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering
• Candidates with little or no experience will be considered, introduction and On-The-Job training will be provided
• Candidate with experience in the marine sector covering diesel engines, gearboxes and gensets will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of scheduling jobs and coordinating the service team
• Confidence in using MS word, MS Excel and MS Power Point as part of daily work as well as SAP.
• Class 3 driving licence (manual)
