Job summary

A property management company in Singapore is looking for a Security Personnel to assist guests and ensure the safety and security of the premises. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, conducting safety drills, and maintaining logs. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience in security or safety. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role. Training in conflict resolution is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist to guests’ requests, luggage handling
  • Patrols assigned areas maintaining buildings and grounds security, responds to emergency situations, assists in searches, and observes and reports special hazards
  • Responds to and assists with emergency and assistance calls, or other situations; notifies the appropriate emergency personnel as needed
  • Assists with building evacuations and crowd and traffic control
  • Acts in response to suspicious persons and situations, safety hazards, and unusual or illegal activity in assigned area
  • Completes logs or reports pertinent to duties or daily activities
  • Conducts fire drills and safety and fire prevention programs
  • Assist in training on fire prevention, the proper use of fire suppression equipment and building evacuation procedures and conducts inspections for fire, safety or security risks or hazards and recommends corrective measures
  • Inspects and maintains emergency and safety equipment and vehicles and reports malfunctions
Job Requirements
  • Minimum high school qualification or equivalent in any field
  • Preferred to have 1 year related experience in safety, security, or fire prevention work
  • Fluent in security industry standards and methods
  • Professional experience in the areas of conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and threat response
  • Proven ability to handle tough situations with tact and discretion and the ability to function at a high level during stressful situations
  • Must hold and maintain applicable state guard certifications and licenses
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time-management, communication, incident report writing, and organizational skills
  • Dependable team player with business acumen and enthusiasm
  • First Aid/CPR certified preferred
  • Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays
