The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership. Job description

Reports to General Manager, Mechanical Services.

What you\'ll do
  • Oversee entire Service Centre operations and manage after-sales service activities to efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for Service Centre\'s profit and loss by tracking sales numbers to ensure profitability/cost management of the service centre is met.
  • Assist to define and direct activities to meet financial targets.
  • Responsible for the Service Centre Customer Service Index level.
  • Enhances service centre operation to create a good customer journey and experience.
  • Ensure standardized procedures and processes for Service Centre and Workshop.
  • Ensure workshop facilities are well maintained meeting WHS requirements.
  • Lead a team of service personnel to provide quality automotive maintenance and services to customers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., Brands Principals, Internal Departments, etc.) to ensure good understanding, relationship, and teamwork to meet company expectations.
  • To manage and resolve customers\' complaints.
About you
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity, including leading a team.
  • Strong communicator with good problem solving and people management skills.
  • Win-win mentality; decisive, sharp and acute thinking in critical moments to create wins for customers and company.
  • Comfortable to work on alternate Saturday/Sunday mornings. Time off or equivalent hours will be provided to compensate for weekend work.
