About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Management Operations Lead to oversee across multiple healthcare settings. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless, efficient, and accurate billing operations while driving process improvements and managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the National Billing System, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across acute inpatient, outpatient, polyclinic, day surgery, and emergency department billing.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, capability-building, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions, and other partners to ensure alignment, integration, and performance consistency.
- Identify, implement, and monitor process enhancements to improve billing efficiency and accuracy using data-driven insights.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and system requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of new initiatives and system upgrades, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
- Develop robust reporting frameworks to monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Around 10–15 years in healthcare operations with a focus on billing systems, financial management, or large-scale program delivery. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proven experience managing and resolving large volumes of tickets using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or SCCD.
- Familiarity with SAP BRIM (Hybris) and SAP S/4HANA
- Proficient in project management and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Deep understanding of healthcare billing operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to respond swiftly and effectively to operational challenges.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus
