Job summary

A healthcare services provider in Singapore is looking for individuals to assist in packing and delivering mattresses to hospitals. Responsibilities include loading/unloading mattresses, ensuring proper segregation of clean and soiled items, and adhering to hygiene protocols. The ideal candidate will have a customer service orientation and must be able to lift heavy objects. A Class 4 driving license is preferred. This role operates on a 5-day work week with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving incoming packed mattresses for delivery.
  • Help load and unload mattresses with supervision.
  • Organize and transfer soiled mattresses for collection.
  • Assist in installations and terminations of mattresses.
  • Comply with hygiene procedures and personal data protection.

Job Description
  1. Assist the supervisor on receiving incoming packed mattresses for delivery to the client/ wards in the hospitals.
  2. Assist the milk run drivers on loading and unloading of mattresses from the vehicles, with assigned supervisor on ground to supervise the entire process.
  3. Assist the supervisor on organizing and transferring of all soiled mattresses to the correct location for milk run collection, ensuring clean/ soiled mattresses is clearly segregated.
  4. Assist the supervisor on all installations and terminations (collections) of air pressure and hospital foam mattresses.
  5. Follow strict compliant to soiled/ clean segregation within the hospital.
  6. Remain compliant and do not disseminate patient’s information (i.e., NRIC, address, etc.) under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  7. Remain compliant to hospital PPE and hygiene procedures.
  8. Update the supervisor on all installation and termination reports daily.
  9. Updates the supervisor on all equipment buffer and excess daily for assets management purposes.
  10. Report breaches of safety to the supervisor immediately.
  11. Takes up tasks and assignments as and when assigned by the supervisor/ operations manager.
Job Requirements
  1. 5-day work week on rotating shift, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
  2. Work done involves certain lifting and moving of items, must be able to lift heavy objects and able to stand for a long hours.
  3. Customer service oriented personally or with experience in providing on-site customer service.
  4. Good to have a Class 4 Driving License.
