Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal applicant should possess at least a Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate good communication skills. A proactive attitude and the ability to work during weekends and public holidays are required. Responsibilities include preparing test reports, ensuring workshop safety, and supporting the setup of new tools.

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge and hands-on skills on monitoring, troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and tool recovery would be an added advantage.
  • Able to interpret schematic diagrams (AA) would be an added advantage.
  • Available for standby (rotate) during weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment servicing, trouble-shooting, repair, upgrade.
  • Check materials to ensure meeting required specifications.
  • Identify suitable replacements for obsolete parts.
  • Perform calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
  • Prepare test report after the completion of repair, where appropriate.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of the workshop, safe workflow and quality of products.
  • Support set-up, installation & training of new tools/equipment.
