Position:Service engineer
Working Hour: 5 days week (9am – 5:30pm)
Work Location: Kaki Bukit
Salary: $3,500 - $5,000
Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing of our system and other machinery for clients.
- Project Management - Able to manage and project delivery to meet deadlines.
- Installation and Commissioning - Install and commission new equipment, systems, and software, ensuring they meet client specifications and are functioning correctly.
- Maintenance and Repair - Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshooting - Identify and resolve technical problems, often working under time pressure to meet client deadlines.
- Provide technical support and training to customer, explaining and train customer to operate our systems and equipment.
- Site Visits - Travel to client sites to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. Local & overseas.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports, diagrams, and other documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams, such as sales, engineering team and supplier to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and products, and implement changes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma /degree in Engineering
- At least 2 years of working experience to service support for production machinery or automated line. Preferably with experience in laser marking, pad printing and secondary process equipment experience.
- Technical Skills - Strong technical knowledge of equipment, systems, or software relevant to the industry (e.g., mechanical, electrical, PLC).
- Certifications - Relevant certifications, for electrical PLC, robotics and automation control.
