Job summary

A scientific and analytical services company in Singapore is looking for a service technician. Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering responsive and high-quality service support.
  • Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of scientific and analytical analyzer systems at customer sites.
  • Provide technical training to end-users and distributors to ensure effective equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Address and resolve service-related concerns by liaising directly with customers on issues involving instruments (Spectroscopy, Particle Size Analyzers, ICP systems, and XRF.)
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and regional technical teams to support customer needs and coordinate service delivery.
  • Prepare quotations for service jobs and spare parts based on customer inquiries.
  • Identify potential leads for preventive maintenance contracts during service visits.
Job requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in (Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Chemical Engineering) or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in servicing scientific or analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Capable of working independently with good planning, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑driven, responsible, and adaptable to new challenges.
