Position Title: Service Engineer – Robotics
Location: Henderson Industrial Park
Reporting To: Service Manager – Asia Pacific
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (in office), Friday (work from home), 8:30am – 5:15pm
Salary Range: $4,000 – $5,500 (maximum)

Job Purpose

The Service Engineer will be part of a regional service team responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services to customers in Singapore and Malaysia. The role also includes opportunities to support projects and customers across the Southeast Asia region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic programming support for industrial robots, both in-house and at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and repair 4- and 6-axis robot systems and associated controllers.
  • Respond to customer service requests via phone, email, or onsite visits.
  • Record and report robot performance and service findings in the internal system.
  • Perform upgrades, repairs, and system restarts at customer sites as required.
  • Complete detailed service reports and update service records in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate service activities and schedules with the Field Service Team Leader/Manager.
  • Liaise with regional technical teams for warranty returns and technical support.
  • Manage and update spare parts inventory and related administrative documentation.
  • Learn and apply the company’s robot programming language to provide basic support and instruction.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation or technical service.
  • Experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia as required, including occasional customer site visits outside regular working hours.
