This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance and overhauling skills required for FPP, CPP, Gearbox, Transverse thruster, Azimuth thruster and WaterJet, etc.
• Carry out propulsion product troubleshooting, maintenance and investigation.
• Execute propulsion product warranty, commissioning work and supervision of new building projects.
• Executing warranty, commissioning work & supervision of Field Service.
• Prepare service work reports.
• Technical communications with Wärtsilä field service stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on engine/propulsion with field service & marine engineer background.
• Ability to understand, use and interpret electrical and automation schematics and drawings, and related component-level documentation.
• Knowledge and experience related to control system specification and design, marine power distribution, motor control, process sensors and instrumentation, valves, pumps, fans and other process system components.
• Good command of written and verbal English; Diploma/BSc in Mechanical, Marine, Electric & Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering. Preference for propulsion FS experience.
