Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a candidate to drive the expansion of the engineering plastics business in ASEAN and India. The role requires delivering technical solutions, investigating material properties, and providing post-sales advisory. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Polymer Science/Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in plastics injection molding. This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Drive the expansion of the engineering plastics business in ASEAN and India by applying deep technical industry knowledge and data.
• Deliver comprehensive technical solutions, including part design analysis (CAE), tooling, injection molding.
• Investigate the mechanical and physical properties of materials using scientific instruments for new product development.
• Provide technical data, competitor comparisons, and post-sales advisory to support commercial activities.
• Conduct failure analysis, benchmark testing, and defect investigation through various testing methods.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Polymer Science/Engineering or a related field.
• Mandatory knowledge of Polymer/Plastics technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics injection molding and chemical analysis.
