Job summary
A leading maritime service provider in Singapore is looking for a dedicated technical support specialist to handle customer support and servicing tasks. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the maritime industry and strong technical skills in automation systems. You will be responsible for maintaining client relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Above 3 years of experience in Maritime/Marine industry.
- Onboard ship experience handling automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS).
- Proficient in computer hardware/peripherals and software.

Responsibilities
- Handle customer support, commissioning and servicing on assigned company products.
- Responsible for servicing assignments for Southeast Asia region, maintain relationship with existing clients.
- Carry out workshop testing and technical preparations, ensure assigned tasks are excuted on a timely basis as per required quality standards.
- Generate service reports, update drawings, cable information database and other relevant documents.
- Provide remote guidance/ technical support to customers, commissioning team and project management of refit/retrofit projects, as well as back-end support to the service teams.
- Assist sales team on providing solutions to technical issues.
- Handle pre- and post-administrative work.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by line manager where required.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation or a related discipline.
- Above 3 years of relevant experience in Maritime/Marine industry.
- Onboard ship experience handling automation systems (control/ propulsion).
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS), propulsion/steering control systems, system processes, distributed control systems and power management systems .
- Proficient in MS Office and computer hardware/peripherals and software.

- Result-oriented, self-motivated, works well in a team as well as independently.
- Meticulous & methodical approach to remote case handling.
- Able to travel overseas for work on short notice when required.
