Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a technician to service their Multi-Function Devices. The role involves ensuring devices are operational, resolving customer connectivity issues, and providing demonstrations to users. Candidates should have at least a diploma in a relevant field and two years of experience in technical operations with networking knowledge. Travel to customer locations is required.

Qualifications

• At least a diploma or equivalent in engineering, IT, business or a related field is required.
• At least 2 years or more of relevant experience in technical field operation in office equipment.
• Intermediate knowledge in networking.
• Comfortable to travel extensively to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing on customers’ Multi-Function Devices according to service manual.
• Ensure all Multi-Function Devices are in optimum working condition.
• Provide quality services during visits to delight customers.
• Resolve customer connectivity issues with the machine.
• Demonstrate the use of machine’s functions and connectivity.
• Support the team in technical support and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing on customers’ Multi-Function Devices in accordance with the procedures indicated inside the service manual
• Take ownership of designated Multi-Function Devices and to ensure all Multi-Function Devices are in optimum working conditions
• Providing quality services during visits to ensure customers or users are delighted
• To provide resolution to customer when they encountered connectivity issues or unable to utilize the machine in their printing environment
• To undertake the role and responsibilities to ensure all installed machines with connectivity are properly installed and demonstrated to users on the use of the machine’s functions and connectivity matters
• Support team in technical support and solutions

Requirement

At least a diploma or equivalent in engineering, IT, business or a related field is required.

At least 2 years or more of relevant experience in technical field operation in office equipment with intermediate knowledge in networking

Comfortable to travel extensively to customer location island wide

2 year contract renewable basis
