Qualifications

  • Willing to travel locally and regionally; physically fit for shipboard work.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and repair PLCs, electric drive systems, and ZF control systems.
  • Supervise wiring and shipyard works to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
  • Coordinate with shipowners, consultants, and shipyards on project progress and issues.
  • Support Service Manager with technical assistance and documentation.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers to build technical capability.
  • Complete service reports promptly and ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, costs, and schedules efficiently.
  • Travel locally or overseas for vessel or shipyard assignments as required.

Your Profile as Service Engineer-Marine Electrica:

  • Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in marine controls or electrical systems preferred.
  • Independent, resourceful, and detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic technical documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to travel locally and regionally; physically fit for shipboard work.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
