Job Description
- Provide hands‑on technical support for semiconductor machine installation, setup, buy‑off, upgrade, troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance at customer sites both local and overseas.
- Prepare reports, including service reports, and provide feedback on technical issues related to machine performance.
- Update management and other concerned personnel on the activities and progress of the job.
- Respond to customer requests to troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions within deadlines by communicating and working closely with HQ and sales personnel.
- Conduct training on proper operation of the machine at customer sites.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with customers.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma, bachelor's degree, post‑graduate diploma, in engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent. Candidates with hands‑on experience in the semiconductor industry are also encouraged to apply.
- 1‑2 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese is an added advantage for internal communication.
- Candidate must be willing to travel as and when required (to client offices).
- Be mature and able to work independently; a trustworthy team player with high integrity of confidentiality.
