Job summary

An industrial services company based in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, assisting in machine learning projects, and integrating data into the MES. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working experience in industrial maintenance required.
• Direct experience with Furnace Equipment is an advantage.

Job description

Annealing Furnace is industrial equipment that uses controlled heat treatment to make metals softer, more ductile, and less brittle by heating them above their recrystallization temperature.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms in collaboration with the data analytics team.
• Work closely with IT/Digital/Automation teams to integrate sensor and equipment data into the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and real-time dashboards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records and prepare for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Qualifications / Required

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Min 3-5 years of working experience in industrial maintenance.
• Direct experience in Furnace Equipment will be advantage.
