Job description

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, troubleshooting, commissioning and testing electrical automation systems.
• Onboard vessel electrical system of LV/HV main switchboard and emergency switchboard power management system service.
• ACB VCB and VCS maintenance, calibration and operation function service.
• Generator service, repair and maintenance service.
• Boiler, Incinerator, Thruster, motor control station and others electrical automation system onboard.
• Experience with Ballast Water management system (BWMS) will be an added advantage.
• Attend to emergency repairs.
• Assist in other duties as directed.
• Analyse equipment failures to determine the cause and recommend/take corrective actions.
• To complete all assigned jobs are completed timely and meet customers’ specifications.
• Attend and carry out rectification works at the site.
• Carry out standby duties as per roster for urgent service requests outside office hour.
• Provide customers with continuous technical and operational program support.
