Job Description
- Participate in standby duty rotations and respond promptly to emergency chiller breakdown calls during assigned shifts.
- Lead commissioning processes for new chiller systems, ensuring installations are completed to specification and function correctly.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols while conducting fieldwork; conduct safety briefings to clarify responsibilities for all involved parties.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to client concerns, offering operational guidance, and promoting best maintenance practices.
- Travel regularly to client sites and perform duties in varying environmental conditions, including outdoor and field-based settings.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions to restore optimal chiller performance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to uphold efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.
- Encourage a team-based problem-solving approach with contractors to enhance workflow and project outcomes.
- Educate clients on routine maintenance procedures and efficient system operation to improve longevity and performance.
Job Requirements
- Minimally Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent field).
- Proven hands-on experience (at least 3 years) in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or a related HVAC role.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller operations, and electrical control systems.
- Completion of Building Construction Supervisor Safety Courses (BCSS or equivalent certification).
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
