Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in Singapore is seeking a competent Service Engineer to join their team. The role involves servicing and maintenance of equipment, liaising with customers for their requirements, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electronics and engineering, along with excellent problem-solving skills. A driving license and experience with advanced systems is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC or equivalent.
  • Class 3 or Class 2 driving licence preferred.
  • Experience in servicing advanced systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Monitor customer equipment performance indices.
  • Liaise directly with customers for their requirements.
  • Plan and propose project deadlines.
  • Perform on-call and standby duty as required.

Job description

CF Global Technologies Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Chong Fong Engineering with footprints in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China. We are providing engineering services in terms of after sales support for the equipment installed at our customer facilities.

We are currently seeking a competent Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in the Service division to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:

  • Previous technical sales experience with equipment highly desirable

Main Role & Responsibilities
  • Performs servicing and maintenance of equipment and system, installation of machinery
  • Collects and monitors customer equipment performance indices and performs schedules preventive maintenance (PM) with customer when required
  • Liaises with customer directly for their requirements
  • Project coordination for installation and training
  • Plans and proposes project deadlines and carries out the tasks accordingly
  • Perform on-call and standby duty as required
  • Initiative to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Team player & meticulous and attention in details
  • Positive attitude in customer servicing
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
  • Class 3 driving licence or Class 2 driving licence are preferred
  • Experience in setting up and servicing of FPI Cleaning Line or high vacuum systems or heat treatment furnaces as well as CNC/PLC control system are preferred
  • Highly independent individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on individual with competency in both electronics, electrical systems and mechanical systems.
