Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is looking for a Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily service and maintenance of elevator and escalator systems. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in a relevant engineering field and 3-5 years of experience in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service operations and maintenance activities.

  • Ensure service compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Conduct cost analysis for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify repair opportunities.
  • Lead service teams through performance reviews.
  • Foster communication with clients and service providers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work Location: Various location within Mainland Singapore
  • Office Location: Kaki Bukit, Singapore
  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8.45am – 5.30pm
  • Monthly Salary: up to $4400 + Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus (VB)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily service operations and maintenance activities for elevator and escalator systems to ensure smooth functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor service performance, proactively reduce call-back rates, and address recurring issues through preventive and corrective actions.
  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints with timely follow-ups and site inspections to uphold service quality standards.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with company safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Conduct cost analysis to track labor and parts usage, aligning operational efficiency with profit targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify opportunities for equipment repairs, upgrades, and value-added services.
  • Lead and motivate service teams through performance reviews, coaching, and continuous development.
  • Foster strong communication and working relationships with internal departments, clients, and external service providers.
  • Contribute to ad hoc tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery and operational processes.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronic Engineering which is recognized by relevant authority
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the lift and escalator industry
  • In-depth knowledge of lift and escalator systems, including their technology and maintenance procedures.
  • Flexible and willing to travel to multiple customer locations as part of service operations.
  • Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
