Job description
- Greeting customers “Irashaimasse!”
- Introduce menu items to customers
- Serve food and beverages to customers’ tables, and clear them after meals
- Take the initiative to refill (free-flow) tea, cabbage and rice for customers
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of service/dining area
- Check and pack delivery orders before riders collect them
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned (e.g. cashiering)
Salary
- Part-time salary: $12/ hour onwards
- Full-time service crew salary: $2,000 – $2,600 with employee benefits (medical, insurance, leave, overtime pay if you agree to additional scheduled hours etc), performance bonus and career development opportunities
Requirements

- Team player who takes initiative to support coworkers when their stations are busy
- Practices good personal and food hygiene
- All successful candidates will have to attend a service excellence training
- Prior service experience is preferred but not necessary
- Must be able to commit to work for at least 4 months, including on weekends
- Please note that we have a split shift as the restaurant is closed from 3-5pm. Staff meals are provided after each split shift
