Founded by Chef-Owner Dave Pynt, Burnt Ends is a modern barbecue restaurant in Singapore’s Dempsey Hill serving modern Australian barbecue and boutique wines and spirits in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. At the heart of this modern barbecue restaurant is an open kitchen concept with a custom four-tonne, dual cavity oven, and four elevation grills. Burnt Ends writes new menus daily and believes that there is magic that comes from cooking with wood.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer service according to procedures and standards.
  • Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing of outlet, taking orders, table setting, cleaning outlet etc.)
  • To ensure that all pre-opening duties are completed on daily basis.
  • Basic cashiering duties.
  • To provide service according to procedures and standards established by the F&B department.
  • To handle the beverages.
  • To be familiar with all items on the menu. In this respect, you must have knowledge of all recipes, drink list, wine list and methods of preparation and preparation time.
  • To recommend and promote all items on the menu or specials to guests.
  • To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and deportment at all times.
  • To clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness of the area.
  • Coordinate with the stewards, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions.
  • Maintains the table culture and ambience at all times.
  • To perform other related duties as required by the manager.

  • 5 days work week (44 hours)
