Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service by evaluating and advising on vehicle service requirements, acting as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop team, and ensuring the timely and satisfactory completion of repairs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer care, warmly welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle service needs
  • Accurately document and explain recommended services, repairs, and their benefits to customers
  • Provide transparent estimates for repair costs and timelines, ensuring customer trust
  • Follow up proactively with customers to update them on vehicle status and ensure satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary maintenance or repairs
  • Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication and efficient repairs
  • Promote service and value-add offers (e.g. maintenance packages, car body care services) to drive revenue growth
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum NITEC in a related course of study with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive field
  • Equivalent professional certification holders with relevant experience are welcomed too
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify and effectively solve problems
  • Ability to learn new tasks and skills quickly
  • Flexible, friendly, helpful nature & team player
