Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking hands-on assemblers to build server chassis, racks and related components on the production line. You will follow precise work instructions and participate in unpacking, packaging and rack build tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of assembly experience, basic computer skills, and a strong eye for detail. The role involves day and night shifts, with a focus on safety and housekeeping in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing, production
• Nitec or Higher Nitec or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience using screwdrivers and basic assembly tools
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
• Able to stand for extended periods in a production environment
• Able to perform work involving occasional ladder use or working at heights when required

Responsibilities

• Assemble server chassis, hard drives and related components according to work instructions and procedures
• Assemble server racks and cabinets according to specifications
• Perform server assembly activities on the production line
• Support unpacking, packaging, rack build and other production-related activities
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment as required
• Perform basic checks to ensure assembled products meet specifications
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements
• Work on shifts as required
