Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our production team. You will assemble server chassis, racks and related components on the production line, following detailed work instructions and procedures.

The role involves shifts, basic equipment use, and ensuring quality checks. We offer medical benefits, career growth, and a supportive Pioneer Team culture.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of manufacturing experience and relevant vocational qualifications.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant assembly or production experience.
• Nitec / Higher Nitec or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience with screwdrivers and basic assembly tools.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Able to stand for long periods in a production environment.
• Able to handle items and work safely at heights when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble server chassis, hard drives and related components according to work instructions and procedures.
• Assemble server racks and cabinets according to specifications.
• Perform server assembly activities on the production line.
• Support unpacking, packaging, rack build and other production-related activities.
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment, including screwdrivers, as required.
• Perform basic checks to ensure assembled products meet required specifications.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements.
• Work on shifts as required.
