Job summary

Qualcomm in Singapore seeks a wafer process engineer with 5+ years experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing. You will drive process improvements, lead quality investigations, and sustain robust processes through FMEA and SIPOC updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of wafer process engineering experience.
• Experience in high volume production of electronics components.
• Wet Process experience: Wet Etch, Wet Resist Strip/Lift off, Wafer bench and cleaning processes.
• Good knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing processes, equipment and materials.
• Experience with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction, weed out unwarranted expenses to raise efficiency.
• Drive quality investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve issues and improve robustness.
• Enforce on-line controls and ensure work instructions are followed with hands-on involvement.
• Coach and train engineers and technicians in processes and problem solving to build competencies.
• Take accountability and demonstrate strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Ensure non-conformance is dealt with properly and effectively.
• Maintain and update FMEA, OCAP, Process control, Risk Assessment and SIPOC for critical processes.
• Ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S and cleanroom protocol.
