Job summary

KANDENKO COOLING SYSTEM PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled welder to perform MIG, TIG and ARC/SMAW welding and related fabrication tasks. You will read drawings, prepare components, and ensure quality across projects.

Ideal candidates have welding certification, experience with structural/pipe welding, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with willingness to work overtime and on site locations as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant welding experience preferred.
• Welding certification or technical qualification advantageous.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, ARC/SMAW or structural/pipe welding is an advantage.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Willingness to work overtime and at various sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and metal fabrication using MIG, TIG, ARC/SMAW and other approved processes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Prepare, cut, fit, align and tack-weld components before final welding.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and related tools.
• Inspect welds for defects and carry out repairs or rectifications.
• Ensure welding quality, safety and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace per WSH requirements.
• Follow PPE usage and safe welding practices.
• Collaborate with supervisors, fitters, engineers and team members.
• Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as required.
