Job summary

Synapxe is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Vulnerability Management & Automation. You will own vulnerability assessments, review scan results, and drive remediation priorities across the IT environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven risk insights and effective collaboration with engineers and management. You will lead automation initiatives, support asset inventory integrity, and align remediation with governance and SLA expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS or related field.
• At least two years of vulnerability management experience.
• Proficient in Python with data processing and automation skills.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools, databases, Power BI and MS Office.
• IT infrastructure support experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate to technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Analyze relationship between operations, data and systems for decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, security, and performance.
• Process and manipulate large vulnerability and asset data for decisions.
• Generate vulnerability status reports with analytics and indicators.
• Ensure projects and BAU meet timelines and quality.
• Collaborate with teams, vendors and business owners.
• Maintain vulnerability reporting, remediation tracking and asset lifecycle.
• Stay current with threats and best practices to enhance resilience.
